about

Jess learned this from Aaron, who learned it in Columbus, OH. It’s origins trace to AL, MS, and western NC, from fiddlers Tommy Jarrell, Kirk Sutphin. It was recorded for the Library of Congress as played by fiddler Charles Long in Mississippi in 1939.
