about

Jess learned from Bruce Molsky’s Soon Be Time record (2006). It’s been tricky to find source info on this one, other than its various names like “Cider Mill” and “Stillhouse” and its popularity in Patrick County and the Galax, VA / Mount Airy, NC area. Jess sings verses as she remembers them from Molsky and jams in Chicago, including one about Guinness that she wrote among friends at The Galway Arms pub Old Lazarus’s Harp Jam sometime in the last 6 years.
